Alicia loves unique narratives and will bring those stories to life through the collaborative efforts of her directors and crews. Organized, technically proficient, and creative, she will execute the director’s vision with ease while maintaining her quirky sense of humor.
Alicia is an LA-based director of photography as well as a Local 600, SOC camera operator. She graduated with a MFA in Cinematography from AFI in 2003. Since then, she has shot and operated on numerous award-winning features, commercials, documentaries, and music videos. Her latest feature, The Wedding Invitation (produced, directed, and crewed entirely by women), won Best Romantic Comedy at the 2016 Manhattan Film Festival. Alicia has also been involved with 3D filmmaking, working as a rig tech and engineer for films such as Step Up Revolution and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Over the past 11 years, Alicia has endeavored to be a well-rounded camera artist working in the scripted world and has also developed solid skills in impro-style filmmaking that has flooded the entertainment industry. She has found that the combination of her skills, including knowledge of up-to-date technology and her versatility in creative styles, strengthens her work on any type of production.
