Amanda started out shooting horror flicks with her high school friends and quickly became intrigued with filmmaking. She attended Emerson College and graduated with a B.A. in Visual Media Arts. Her fascination with cameras and equipment continued to grow when she worked as a tech in a busy rental house.
Amanda came up as a digital shooter and has a deep understanding of grading and compositing. Even so, she still loves shooting on film when possible and is inspired by good old-fashioned movie magic. Blending old and new technologies to tell captivating stories is an aspiration for every shoot.
Over the years Amanda has shot a variety of projects including feature and short films, branded content, sports, and music. In 2015 she shot the feature film Most Likely. The film is currently screening in festivals and is available online. She recently shot a political documentary series for The Huffington Post.
