Born and raised in south Brazil, Andressa majored in both Film studies and Art School. She moved to LA, where she finished her MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute in 2014. At the same year, she was the proud recipient of the “New Filmmakers Program” grant from Panavision. Her thesis film at the AFI won a first place prize at the 36th Student Emmy Awards, the jury prize at the Toronto International Film Festival, an honorable mention at the American Emerging Filmmakers Pavilion at Cannes, among with other prestigious film festivals. Extensive film and art education and experience provides her a unique, global perspective and aesthetic.
She now lives and works in Los Angeles.
