Daniella was born in Jerusalem and raised in Washington, DC. She has been shooting since a young age, having her first photograph published in National Geographic World at the age of ten. Daniella has spent most of her adult living abroad. She has shot in over fifteen countries and speaks five languages. Her photographs have been published in Condé Naste, Berlitz, National Geographic and numerous other publications. Daniella’s career as a cinematographer began in documentaries and her work has been aired on YES Documentary Channel and the National Geographic Channel. In 2014 Daniella graduated from the American Film Institute’s Cinematography MFA program where she won honorable mention at the Kodak Student Cinematography Awards for her work on the film, SASSAFRAS. Her AFI thesis film, TRACKS (directed by Logan Sandler) has screened at close to ten festivals winning the audience award for short films at Miami International. Daniella is currently shooting the fantasy feature SCHOOL SPIRITS, directed by Allison Eckert and is in pre-production for the dystopian thriller BEASTIES directed by Kristjan Thor.
